MLK Day of Service 2022

"Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'" -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On MLK Day, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's service to others. If you are in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC area and looking for ways to get involved in your local communities this weekend, here is a list of eco-minded service projects.

The building will be open as a comfort station, providing restrooms and a break from the cold. Most projects include working on natural surface trails, sometimes on a mild incline, and some manual labor, such as raking, weeding, or pushing a wheelbarrow.
