Often Lady Bird Johnson wrote observations and kept them in a daily diary. Here is one from her entry January 13th, 1964:
This morning I woke up to a white world-snow falling outside our bedroom windows, so thick.

We must be ever mindful, there are those like Lady Bird Johnson who have left us with a legacy, words, and actions that we should use as a guide to our everyday thoughts and efforts to make our world better.
