We work towards this mission through providing professional development opportunities, highlighting the benefits of environmental and outdoor education as well as the options around the state, recognizing outstanding educators, providing mini-grants and sharing additional EE funding options, and offering resources to strengthen and expand environmental and outdoor education across Arkansas.
Our top priorities include expanding professional development opportunities, including Project WET and eeCourses, increasing the amount of mini-grants we distribute, supporting the Arkansas Outdoor Education Initiative, and updating the Arkansas EE Resource Directory on our website.

We do this through our annual regional meetups and statewide conference; certification program for environmental educators; statewide job board; and online workshops, courses, and resources.

At the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education, our mission is to elevate and amplify environmental and outdoor learning in Colorado. Since 1989, CAEE has been here to support YOU in providing and championing environmental and outdoor learning across our beautiful state. We are your advocates for training, funding, and support in the fight for access to quality environmental and outdoor learning opportunities for all Coloradans.
The well-being of both people and nature depends on helping every Coloradan develop the skills to understand, care for, and take action for our environment. But right now, the system in Colorado that supports this work is stretched thin. Funding doesn’t match the demand, and access to meaningful outdoor and environmental learning is uneven across the state. In the years ahead, we’re committed to strengthening this entire network—lifting up great programs, rallying more support, and bringing partners together. Our priorities include building stronger connections by developing vibrant collaborative learning networks, supporting schools and educators at every level to foster skilled and green career-ready graduates, creating sustainable career pathways, and expanding the resources and funding needed to reach every learner.
Together, we have the power to build a more reliable, statewide system—one that ensures no Coloradan is left out and that we’re all better prepared for whatever the future brings.
