Advocacy
Here, you'll discover advocacy resources such as reports and toolkits focused on climate education policy at different governmental levels or within organizations.
These resources were compiled by the Coalition for Climate Education Policy to be featured in a State and Local Climate Education Policy Toolkit.
This report was written based on a review of public documents, more than fifteen interviews with philanthropic leaders, and dozens of conversations with colleagues and experts. It benefits from input by multiple reviewers at both Morgan Stanley and the Aspen Institute. This effort is part of a larger collaboration with the Aspen Institute designed to help our clients explore critical issues and magnify their impact on the causes that are meaningful to them, and essential to many clients’ understanding of the preservation of biodiversity on our planet
This report is a call to action. The solutions necessary to combat climate change are systemic and require collaboration across the public, private, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors.
There are many funding streams currently available that schools can leverage to support climate action. The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), and The American Rescue Plan (ARP) can be used to fund and implement climate solutions in schools. This resource can help educators find ways to take advantage of these opportunities.

- Thoughtfully delivering your message.
Also included are chapters on using media to enhance your advocacy, four actions you can take now, and additional resources.
