Alexis is a devoted sustainability and environmental educator. As a student and worker at the University of Colorado Boulder, her work explores engagement with community and environmental issues, implementation of new ideas, and assessments of these initiatives. Her recent projects include a campus community-based zero waste move out initiative, heading social media and in person outreach with the campus's Zero Waste Outreach Team, and networking with other sustainability groups. Alexis's long-term professional goals include promoting accesibility among environmental education and maintaining forward motion in efforts towards the climate crisis.
