As a  graduate with a B.Sc. in marine biology and certification in environmental impact assessment from Dalhousie University, Jess  joined the education team as the new partnerships and education resource coordinator. Since her debut with Ocean Wise, Jess has been developing education kits and professional development workshops by integrating the skills and knowledge she gained in education as an ecology teaching assistant and in ocean sciences as a laboratory assistant for her alma matter. Outside of Ocean Wise, you can find Jess doing anything outdoors, from looking for sea stars, her favourite ocean animal, to camping, surfing, and playing in the mud to collect data for some science projects!
