Katie Kross is an educator and author who inspires and empowers graduate business students to pursue careers in sustainability. As the managing director of the Center for Energy, Development, and the Global Environment (EDGE) at Duke University, she coaches MBA students directly, designs extracurricular and experiential learning programs, and creates new sustainability knowledge content with business students in mind. She is the co-founder of an innovative, high-impact program called ClimateCAP, which engages approximately 3,000 MBA students each year from the U.S. and Europe to learn about the business implications of climate challenge. She is also the author of the book Profession and Purpose, a career guide designed to help any MBA student use his/her business skills to advance a more sustainable world.
