Stacey grew up in Colorado, where she developed a lifelong passion for the outdoors through hiking, skiing, and backpacking with friends and family. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and participated in the INVST Community Leadership Program. Later, she completed the IslandWood Graduate Residency Program in Washington and received a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Washington, focusing on nonprofit management, education policy, and environmental and multicultural education.

She is passionate about fostering inclusivity and accessibility in the outdoors, striving to co-create welcoming spaces where everyone can enjoy and connect with nature.  When she’s not at BCM, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her partner and two young children through activities like camping and skiing. She also loves a good spontaneous dance party.
