I am a professional engineer in environmental engineering with over a decade of experience in consulting and in government regulation. During my time as an engineer, I began helping high school students to figure out their future careers and educational paths to achieve those careers. Eventually, I started a company, Education Encompassed, to provide education guidance to students. Recognizing the need to help reduce the socioeconomic gap in education, I later created the Education Excellence Initiative as a 501(c)(3) to provide the same service to underserved communities. In 2021, I began pursuing a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership -- focusing on institutional strategy and policy. 

While I manage the two education organizations, I continue to consult as one of the principal engineers for Z18 Engineering -- an environmental engineering and consulting firm. Our mission is to create a world where the environment no longer needs protecting.
