Educators have the opportunity to get a field-based professional development experience like none other. Ecology Project International (EPI), an international education and conservation nonprofit, has just opened the application period for its 2019 Teacher Fellowships. These 8-day hands-on professional development experiences for high school and college-level educators take place in Hawaii, Costa Rica, Baja California Sur, and Yellowstone National Park. Educators accepted into the program will collaborate with one another on real-world conservation projects and learn EPI's experiential education framework in the field.

EPI's Teacher Fellowships each offer a unique view into conservation, taking you into the field with researchers to collect important wildlife conservation data. Choose the program(s) that align with your professional goals. 
On each of EPI's fellowships, we aim to:

1) Develop your familiarity with EPI’s approach to education through field science. 
2) Celebrate and reconnect with the fundamentals of how students learn.
3) Provide unique experiences and activities to take back to your classroom. 
4) Build a supportive network of educators working towards similar goals. 
5) Introduce you to EPI’s work and promote future student courses to our program sites.
