NatureStart Professional Development Program Midwest Cohort is blended learning program of three 1-day sessions- Oct. 19, Nov. 16, & Dec. 7, 9 am - 4 pm (CST) for educators who work with young children in nature-based settings and programs. This competency-based program has 3 in-person sessions that take place in suburban Chicago at Brookfield Zoo, Brookfield, IL. We engage with nature indoors and out as participants are introduced to this competency-based program and are involved in hands-on, adult-learning activities that address how young children learn and make connections to nature in meaningful ways.
