The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point College of Professional Studies offers an eight-week, real-world grant writing experience specific to each student's area of study or professional expertise. Graduate students entering into the non-profit sector or working professionals interested in seeking grant funding to support current work objectives will benefit from this course. Many environmental educators, or environment advocates in non-profit agencies, enroll in this course. Students enjoy the ability to focus on their own disciplinary content or organizational needs as they write a full proposal of their choice. The course is taught by UW-Stevens Point grant writer, Michelle Goetsch.
