• Did you know that K–12 students in the U.S. only receive an average of 2 hours of climate change education per year? National Wildlife Federation and Bard College’s Graduate Programs in Sustainability launched #Teach10Hours4Climate in 2022 to increase the amount of time that students spend learning about the climate crisis. Ten hours for climate education per school year sounds like a modest request – and it definitely is, given the scale of the crisis. But it’s an achievable start. Join us for an informative webinar about how you can #Teach10Hours4Climate and make climate education an integral part of your teaching, no matter the subject. We will also be joined by Write The World, an online platform and community that helps teenage writers improve their climate advocacy.
