1-day Social Marketing Training Session in Honolulu, HI on July 24, 2019
This training session will cover the basic concepts of community-based social marketing and associated social science principles through a combination of lecture, hands-on exercises, and exemplary case studies focused on relevant issues in environment, health, and public safety. The session will include discussion of the theoretical foundations behind the process and as well as guidance for how to apply it in the field. Additionally, attendees will work through a series of activities designed to work through the process for selecting behaviors, identifying barrier/benefits, selecting appropriate behavior change tools, and designing pilots.
