Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Programs grants Educator Innovation Awards of $750 to teachers in any discipline who use the 2020 Ocean Awareness Contest as a teaching tool with middle or high school students. The Ocean Awareness Contest deadline for participation is June 15, 2020.

Classroom teachers, librarians, informal educators, and youth program coordinators from around the world are invited to nominate themselves or a colleague for an Educator Innovation Award. The nomination deadline is July 1, 2020.

There is a special Bay State Award and classroom grant available for Massachusetts educators. One winner will receive a $750 cash award plus a $500 classroom grant, for a total prize package of $1,250.
