EdVentures for Educators is a full immersion, professional development opportunity for K-8 educators and resource specialists. Participants will be trained in the award winning Project Learning Tree e-unit for their grade level strand and how it aligns with state and national standards. They will also conduct field studies with natural resource and forestry experts and develop outdoor leadership skills with the Touch of Nature Environmental Center staff. Participants can expect hands-on learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors. 

EdVentures for Educators is provided to participants at no charge. All food (breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday as well as breakfast on Sunday), lodging, training and take-home resources are provided through a Sustainable Forestry Initiative grant. There is no charge for educators; however full attendance is required to receive PLT e-unit curriculum, educational resources and professional development CEU's. Priority registration will be given to educators that attend with a teaching-team colleague. 

Participants will overnight at Touch of Nature Environmental Center. Rooms are double occupancy. Guests will have the opportunity to request their roommate during registration. To see the beautiful facility where this event will take place visit the Touch of Nature Environmental Center website.
