Join the UNL Women’s and LGBTQA+ Centers, Big Red Resilience and Wellbeing, CARE, SustainUNL and the University Health Center for a Healthy People, Healthy Planet event on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The event will include a free screening of “Mother: Caring for 7 Billion”.
What: Healthy People, Healthy Planet a free film screening with discussion
When: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019
Where: UNL, Nebraska Union (City Campus), 1400 R St, Lincoln, NE 68588, Swanson Auditorium, second floor on the north side of the NU
After the film, stick around for a discussion with Kelley Dennings from the Center for Biological Diversity, who will also hand out free Endangered Species Condoms and other materials that raise awareness about working toward a healthy population and sustainable planet.
A second Healthy People, Healthy Planet event will be held the following day, Wednesday, Nov. 13 where local issues and solutions that students can support will be discussed. Join us for that from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center OASIS lounge.
