Secondary Teaching - Earth Sciences
As a student in the secondary education program at UNO, you will be prepared to teach students enrolled in grades 6-12 in middle and/or high school settings along with specializing from six content areas: English, mathematics, social studies, biology, chemistry, and earth science.
Accredited by the National Council on Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the College of Education and Human Development links coursework to hands-on experience with
students in secondary education settings. Here, the road to your own classroom is through a series of field experiences that support candidates in individual, small group, and whole class instruction in local schools. You will work with students, observe various
