Underwater ecosystems in the Bahamas are in danger. In response, the Bahamas Reef Environment Education Foundation (BREEF) is "working to create a fully functional network of marine protected areas, essential for the social, economic and ecological future of our country.” 

Through 31 eco schools, BREEF is also raising an empowered next generation of underwater explorers, conservationists, and activists.
