Little River Research and Design provide these videos to help students better understand geomorphic processes in rivers with special attention to the effects of channelization and gravel mining. By understanding the effects of river management and activities in the floodplain, our current and future land managers can ensure that our water resources and ecosystems remain healthy and that the longevity of structures in the floodplain be maximized.
