10 Reasons to Register for #NAAEE2020
Environmental education has always been about envisioning a better world—and that’s true now more than ever. And because NAAEE’s Annual Conference and Research Symposium will be online for the first time ever, environmental educators from around the world can easily collaborate to inspire change in more ways than ever before. We look forward to seeing you in this global community of environmental educators as we work together to inform and inspire, advance justice, equity, and inclusion, build human capacity, galvanize action to ensure equal access to nature, and create healthier communities for all.
Here’s a list of ten reasons why you won’t want to miss the #NAAEE2020 49th Annual International Conference and 17th Annual Research Symposium:
1. Incredible Content
Both the Research Symposium and the Conference feature a wonderful lineup of speakers and presenters touching on a range of issues and ideas.
2. Incredible People
The conference will, as always, include networking opportunities and the chance to interact with hundreds of other educators to learn, share, and grow.
3. Low Fees
We’re saving money, time, and CO2 by not traveling! And this year’s conference fees are based on a sliding scale so you can pay what you can afford.
4. Easy Navigation
Our conference website and platform are easy to use, and there’s lots of help if you ever get stuck!
5. A Year of Learning
If you have to miss a session, don’t worry. You can review more than 400 recorded sessions for a year after the conference.
6. Get Comfortable
Tune in when and where you want, with whatever snacks you prefer. Scheduled breaks will ensure you never feel rushed.
7. Prizes
Two lucky attendees will receive free registrations to the 2021 conference in Pittsburgh! We’ll also be giving out books from our award-winning speakers.
8. Best Seats in the House
Unlike a face-to-face conference, you will always have the best seat in the house. You can wear your PJs and never get lost searching for a room.
9. Getting Credit
We will again offer continuing education hours for attending the conference.
10. Supporting EE
By taking part in the conference, you’ll support NAAEE and the field of environmental education at a time when coming together is as important as ever.
