Growing up in northern Minnesota, I was never far from a lakeshore or stand of trees. Spending several summers at a wilderness camp on an remote island on the Lake of the Woods sparked my love of outdoor education. I studied Environmental Studies for my undergrad and EE for my graduate degree.
