Former ichthyologist and Aquarium husbandry specialist with a focus on riverine fishes, marine fishes and elasmobranchs, sea turtles, and other native NC wildlife species. Current nature lover and striving become an effective evironmental educator to reach beyond our urban areas.

I have been in the EE field for over 27 years. I am currently the Education and Outreach Manager and I oversee our classroom and adult education programs, website, social media, and marketing efforts. 

I'm an economist working with undergraduates in the Department of Statistical Science at Duke.  I'm beginning the EE certification program and hoping to join the NC Extension's Master Naturalist training class next year.  I grew up in Kentucky, have lived all over the US, and traveled the world while in the Navy. I'm a trained facilitator of the CIMER Project's Entering Research and Entering Mentoring programs. Becoming certified in EE will improve my ability to connect students in statistics and data science with meaningful research projects in support of environmental researchers and nonprofits.

I am an Education Specialist at a Brevard Zoo with a focus on formal learning programs. I have an educational background in Animal Behavior Psychology and Conseravtion Technology

Hi, I am Diego Riva! I just moved to the USA to work for a nonprofit supported by the Swiss Governement. We mainly focus on innvovation and technology. Since the day I arrived here I tried to include more and more thought about inclusivity, sustainability and social justice.

I studied political science at the Université de Lausanne and I plan to pursue my studies in climate justice and public policies
