About Marys River Watershed Council: MRWC is a 501(c)3 watershed organization that works to inspire and support voluntary stewardship of the Marys River watershed.

I'm the Executive Director of a startup charity called Project Imo. We focus on adventurous outdoor and nature education, youth mentorship, community educational programs, experiential peacebuilding, and creating partnerships to connect underserved youth to nature... and a conservation podast!

I am the Director of Forestry Education for the Arkansas Forestry Association Education Foundation where I serve as the Arkansas Project Learning Tree (PLT) State Coordinator. I promote sustainable forestry and environmental education in the state and across the country.

I love finding and sharing new ways to learn, especially when it is connected to one's place. My time in the MT Conservation Corps, AmeriCorps, and as a teacher has changed how I view education- the chance to glean a sense of connection from nature is something I want every student to experience.
