Economics student from Chile, and passionate about protecting the environment. My interests are related to movilizing and empowering youth in their own communities, as well as water conservation and protection. I have experience managing, coordinating, and guiding groups of young people.

Learning, exploring and travel are my passions. As a Park Ranger Educator for the National Park Service I get to do it all- and share that enthusiasm and knowledge with diverse groups of students and adults from around the world.

I am an artist, animator, media producer and educator. The natural world has been a source of inspiration in my work since childhood and I still feel the awe of a child seeing a cicada for the first time. My work now is creating animation and workshops to inspire kids and families to get outside.

IslandWood, founded in 1999, is an environmental learning center created to improve access to meaningful, nature-based learning experiences for our region's children. Our mission is to provide exceptional learning experiences and to inspire lifelong environmental and community stewardship.
