I'm a confirmed desert rat who teaches AP Environmental Science at the high school level, classes for Texas Parks and Wildlife's Master Naturalist Program, and field experiences for Celebration of Our Mountains in El Paso, TX. I'm currently president of the El Paso Cactus and Rock club.

Meredith Downing is the Manager of Learning at Wonderschool. She started her career as a preschool teacher and enjoys designing learning experiences for children and the adults who care for them.

I am a teacher with 15-20 years of experience including coaching, paraprofessional, Teacher, Principal, and Superintendent. A.A.S. in Natural Resource Management: emphasis Forestry. Currently starting an outdoor school that will have students learning in and from the environment.

I am an ecologist and environmental educator living on the small island of Nantucket, 30 miles offshore of Massachusetts!

Melissa was responsible for managing NAAEE’s international programming-- most notably through the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP), a learning network designed to build capacity of environmental education professionals and organizations around the world. Melissa has more than 20 years of experience in conservation, education, evaluation, and fundraising.

Prior to NAAEE, she directed Audubon’s Together TogetherGreen program, a $25 million partnership between Audubon and Toyota that worked to build community conservation efforts and strengthen and diversify environmental leadership across the U.S.  Prior to Audubon, she worked at Discovery Creek Children’s Museum, where she developed science education curriculum and initiated the organization’s first comprehensive evaluation of its programs, and American Rivers, where she was responsible for managing the organization’s foundation portfolio. Melissa has a B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College and an M.S. from the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and Environment, with a focus in environmental education and psychology. Melissa is based in Washington, D.C.
