I have been teaching at Alpena for 17 years, and driving a bus for 16 years. I have 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. My wife, Tammy and I live on a farm where we raise cattle. We also have 2 dogs, 5 cats, and enjoy the outdoors.

Nikki McDaid (Shoshone-Bannock) is a doctoral candidate in the Learning Sciences at Northwestern University. She is interested in the intersection of Indigenous resurgence and land-based education in formal and informal contexts.

Ivona is a a manager and mentor. She is passionate about helping projects with social value expand their potential. She has worked with youth with special needs and different ages, and today she is a leader and an educator in the environmental education project Fly High Bird Club in rural Colombia.
