I have been the Naturalist at Pioneers Park Nature Center since 2014. Prior to the Nature Center, other roles have included Community Education Director at Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center and Program Manager at the Groundwater Foundation.

I am School Outreach Programmer for a public library. I concentrate on STEM and EE programming for families and school age children. I serve on the Board of Directors for KAEE and am a Certified Professional Environmental Educator in the state of KY. I hold a KY Early Childhood and Education Trainer (EE Specialty) Credential as well. 

Dr. Rebecca F. Kemper is a researcher at the Center for Research and Evaluation at COSI. She is also a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA), Ohio Academy of Science, and Urban Affairs Association (UAA).

I am interested in understanding experiences that connect people with the natural world, and using interdisciplinary methods to study zoos, aquariums, and community led conservation work.
