After being a zookeeper and informal educator through wildlife education for 12 years, I joined Galveston Bay Foundation in 2019 to focus on local conservation outreach. I love connecting people to their local environment and empowering them to be advocates. I am also a musician and yoga teacher!

Jennifer Smith works with the US Forest Service office of International Programs, managing partnerships with natural resource professionals and environmental NGOs in Europe and Eurasia, many of whom are focused on environmental ed in formal and informal settings.
