Greetings! I manage outdoor recreation and informal, environmental education programs at a MA land conservation non-profit called The Trustees. In this role, I've developed the education curriculum, community partnerships, staffing and operations for Mobile Adventures. Mobile Adventures is a custom van filled with outdoor nature play experiences for families in Environmental Justice Communities. The van travels to community events and festivals, local parks, and community centers, bringing pop-up style experiences designed to spark exploration, play, discovery, and curiosity with nature.
What inspires me most about my work is the joy that comes from connection to nature and its ripple effect on environmental stewardship, climate action, and overall wellbeing.

Hi! I have been a water, climate change and environmental educator for more than 30 years working with K-12 schools and with policy makers in more than 60 countries. Today, I am writing and developing ECOMASTERS books and interactive learning materials for kids, with a focus on girls. I am consulting on a global small grants program working with 40 schools worldwide on environmental action and development of multiverse based interactive Scobaverse game which is working to engage kids in mapping local underwater environments, starting with the Maldives. I am a storyteller and 'connector and pollenator' as an eePRO K-12 moderator, I look forward to learning and helping to share your stories.

Terry Spahr
A filmmaker, naturalist and environmental activist, and the Executive Director of Earth Overshoot, a nonprofit working to make ecological limits central to all personal and public decision-making through targeted education and advocacy. Spahr is an expert on sustainability and the intersection of human consumption and population as the primary drivers of environmental destruction.
Spahr is the producer of the 2019 documentary, 8 Billion Angels, which establishes the fact that the environmental crises the planet is experiencing are far greater than just the symptom of climate change. The film unflinchingly shows that too many people consuming too many resources and emitting too many wastes are having profound impacts on our planet, and that if we are to address our Human Impact Crisis honestly, we can achieve real sustainability marked by tremendous human well being.
Spahr is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania College of Arts & Sciences and The Fels Center of Government.
He had a 25-year career in the insurance, investment and real estate industries and is a former board member of the Long & Foster Companies as well as their philanthropic arm. A sought after speaker. He has presented at numerous conferences and forums, spoken on radio and podcasts, and is a contributor to environmental publications and blogs.
