I am a recent graduate of Brown University serving as an AmeriCorps member in the role of Environmental Education Coordinator at the Cumberland River Compact. I am broadly interested in community resilience and increasing the scope and accessibility of environmental and climate education.
I Graduated in 2016 with a BA in Environmental Studies and Minor in Environmental Education from Western Washington University’s Huxley College of the Environment. My goal is to pass on stewardship of the natural world to students of all ages through outdoor experience.
Growing up on an island I have been surrounded by nature's bounty. My wonder for the natural world brought me to Avalon Park and Preserve, where in 2013 I began Seedlings, an informal platform for sharing the love of being outside with children. I love of hiking, gardening and birding.
