Being born in Mexico made me grow aware of how I could positively impact my surroundings. I’ve gotten the opportunity to develop and lead the Inclusive Solar Businesses initiative, which aims to create sustainable business for women in off-grid communities in order to activate local economies.

The best way to change the world for the better is to create inspirational and educational experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds. The goal of my work is to cultivate connection to self, others, community and the natural world.

I am an Associate Program Officer with the National Academies of Sciences' Gulf Research Program, working on education and capacity-building initiatives. I hold a PhD in Science and Environmental Education from the University of Tennessee and several years of formal and informal teaching experience.
