I am the Denver Program Manager for Earth Force. I am also a doctoral student in curriculum innovation and school reform. I am interested in reshaping science teaching and learning for students and teachers to engage both in transformative, aesthetic ecological experiences for environmental action.
I've been working in EE since 2011 when I took an internship with the Minnesota Zoo. That internship inspired me and I began volunteering with the Wesselman Woods Nature Society and became a Master Naturalist. I completed my MS in EE in 2015 and now work with the Fresno Chaffee Zoo as an educator.
I am the Education Coordinator for the WAVE Foundation at Newport Aquarium with a degree in Anthropology. I love sharing inquiry-based learning with guests of all ages, and I am passionate about Conservation (Sumatran Rhinos especially), Climate Change, and STEAM.
I'm a biologist and educator who focuses on environmental justice and environmental genetics. I'm a proud contributor to several sustainability projects at Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, Texas, including the Dumpster Project, Green is the New Black, and Building Green Justice.
