The mission of GLBRC Education & Outreach is to inform a variety of audiences about bioenergy research, energy concerns, and sustainability issues affecting our planet. Our goal is to broaden the understanding of current issues in bioenergy for the general public, and students and educators.
I am a Recreation Supervisor overseeing the Prairie Grass Nature Museum, Huebner Fishery Mgmt Fnd and Challenge Course programs and operations. I am a current EEAI member and create and educate nature programs to the public, public schools, and scouts. We are remarketing and eager to be a vital part
20 years in science & EE, mostly outdoors in nonformal settings, mostly in Alaska. More recently classroom teaching (secondary science in Alaska) and English teaching abroad. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and working on big picture projects that support & sustain EE in the community.
I have been teaching about Coastal Zone Management and Coastal Policy for 20 years. I am an affiliate of the Nova Southeastern University Oceanographic Center. I'm the author of 15 books and many articles on politics and policy.
I am currently a PhD candidate in science education and healt (UFRJ), I graduated in Basic Education with emphasis in Natural Sciences and Environmental Education (UV), Master of Education UV ; Social Management Specialist ( PUC) My research are focused on relation between sciences and EE .
