I am a horticulturist with a position at the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind.

I coordinate a minor in environmental education at Elon University. I teach the capstone course outside in a forest classroom. My research is broadly focused on ecologically minded teaching.

Hi! I'm the Program Coordinator for the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education. My primary roles are facilitating our Careers in Natural Resources Initiative, Awards for Excellence in Environmental Education, and other EE Professional Development in Colorado.

Kate currently develops and teaches environmental education programs at her local Boys & Girls Club. She has worked in environmental policy and management and has written on environmental and energy topics. She holds a BS degree in International Business and French from Penn State University, and an MS in Public Policy Analysis from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College. She taught middle school math and science with the US Peace Corps in Botswana. 

Drew is an organizational and logistics specialist. He has expertise in creating and implementing systems to ensure program success and federal regulation compliance, including budget management, reporting, and program activity coordination. Drew started working for NAAEE in 2012. Prior to that, he worked for ChemStewards, an environmental, health, and safety program, and as a Sustainability Assistant for the City of Sioux Falls in South Dakota, focusing on data management as well as community engagement. He has a bachelor's degree in Political Science, with a minor in biology, from the University of South Dakota.

Kimi Waite's research and professional praxis is situated in the intersections of environmental education, geography, critical pedagogy, and social studies. She is passionate about inspiring and leading PK-12 students and teachers to take local action for global environmental change.

Hello! I am an environmental education fellow at an outdoor school in Indiana. I am also currently an environmental education certificate  program student at Hamline University. I'm here to learn more about education and the outdoors!
