Gina LaMotte is passionate about transforming our nation's K-12 schools into centers for climate resilience. In 2008, Gina founded EcoRise, a nonprofit serving over 2,800 schools whose mission is to mobilize a new generation of leaders to design healthy, just, and thriving communities for all.

Biography: Dr. Tami Shelley is an assistant professor in the College of Education, Auburn University at Montgomery. Her research interests include pre-service teacher preparation, mentorship, and early childhood development.
Citizen Artist™ is a participatory science research platform employing Art-Based Perceptual Ecology (ABPE) research methodologies, transdisciplinary field-based research methods grounded in multimodal knowledge systems, sensory based learning and framed within ecological and biological principles and offer underrepresented populations an opportunity to get involved in science.
