I work to foster a passion for celebrating and protecting the natural world through interdisciplinary, exploratory, and inspirational opportunities for kids of all ages and backgrounds. I firmly believe that to protect the future of our environment we must teach our children to love the Earth.

Bashiru is a Climate and Social Entrepreneurial Leader, specialised in Conservation, Natural Resource Management, Tourism Product Planning and Development.

I am an art teacher in Cincinnati OH, at a school for gifted kids grades 3-12.  I am currently working on my Masters' Degree through Slippery Rock University's Masters of Environmental Education.  For the past 20 years, I have worked with kids in an urban gardening site with a charitable nonprofit I co-founded, called Permaganic (permaganic.org).

I am a Pre K teacher and Assistant Director of Monarch Learning Academy in Orlando, Florida which has a strong core in the belief of infusing nature into whole child development. My passion is educating and connecting children, families and teachers to nature based learning.

Having a passion for conservation, education, and entrepreneurial leadership, I consider my superpower to be championing great causes through relationship building and fundraising via grants. I thrive on the art of grant writing and the attention to detail the start to finish process demands from grant preparedness, grant writing, and budget prep. I especially enjoy working with non-profit leaders to synthesize their ideas and visions into written words and develop grant ready content to establish more sustainable internal operations and, in turn, secure more funding.
