My name is Patricia but I like to be called Trish. I am a North Carolina teacher of 19 years. I have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren. I love the outdoors and would prefer to work outdoors. Obtaining my evironmental educators certificate will give me a wealth of resources that I can use in my classroom. I also look forward to educating my colleagues on how to use evironmental literacy in their classrooms.

I currently treach K-1, sub-seperate spec ed to 12 children, w/2staff. I have taught for almost 30 yrs. Early intervention, early childhood, private and public settings. I believe we must address the whole students' needs in more organic settinga and with increased kinistetic activites. I feel education requires more overlap of skills within functional activities and overlapping of educational strands, reading, writing and math blended across science, social studies and the arts.
